Swag for the Homeless, Oscars take 2
A "simply marvelous" way for Hollywood to celebrate the industry's accomplishments would be to donate and auction those Oscar award swag bags to help rebuild homes in the devastated city of New Orleans. Oscar gift bag donations to New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity would allow at least 1 home to be built for the value of a gift bag.
Just a thought. Not a funny one, but maybe the right one.
Email your support or this link to Oscar.com or The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences or better, yet, both.

I didn't know about thoe gift bags until last year or so. I mean, people can do as they like, but it's just amazing how good people are to themselves and their immediate cronies.
This idea is a good one.
